Deliciously sweet and juicy grilled peaches served with creamy ice cream make the perfect summer dessert.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, honey, and cinnamon.
  3. Brush the cut sides of the peaches with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the peaches cut side down on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes, until grill marks appear and the peaches are tender.
  5. Remove the peaches from the grill and let them cool slightly.
  6. Serve the grilled peaches warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • Choose ripe but firm peaches for the best results.
  • You can also use other stone fruits like nectarines or plums.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle some chopped nuts or drizzle extra honey on top before serving.
