- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (about 1 lb)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Trim the tough ends off the asparagus.
- Toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place asparagus on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from grill and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon zest.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Choose asparagus spears of similar thickness for even cooking.
- You can also roast the asparagus in the oven at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- For extra flavor, add minced garlic to the olive oil before tossing.
