- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade, coat well, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat and cook skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until fully cooked.
- For the tzatziki sauce, combine yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a bowl. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Serve the grilled chicken skewers with tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- You can use chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after grilling for better texture.
