- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 whole wheat pita breads
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup diced cucumber
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced red onion
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken breasts with the mixture.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Warm the pita breads on the grill for about 1 minute on each side.
- To assemble, place sliced chicken in each pita, then add a generous spoonful of tzatziki sauce, followed by diced cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
