Instructions

  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the batter.
  5. Divide batter into pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  6. Beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  7. Frost the cooled cake layers and serve.
