Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the cod from the pan and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, melt the butter over low heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  8. Stir in chopped parsley, dill, and lemon juice.
  9. Pour the herb butter sauce over the cod fillets.
  10. Serve immediately.
