- 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove the cod from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in chopped parsley, dill, and lemon juice.
- Pour the herb butter sauce over the cod fillets.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for the best flavor.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when cooking the cod.
