Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring garlic parmesan shrimp served over semolina.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 cups water or broth
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. Stir well.
  5. Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, melt butter and add semolina. Toast for 1 minute.
  7. Gradually add water or broth, stirring constantly until semolina thickens.
  8. Return shrimp to the pan and mix with semolina.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For extra richness, add a splash of cream to the semolina.
