- 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 head of garlic, roasted
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup whole milk or heavy cream
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Peel and cube the potatoes, then boil in salted water until tender (15-20 minutes).
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or ricer.
- Add roasted garlic, butter, milk, salt, and pepper, then mix until smooth.
- Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm.

- For extra creaminess, use warm milk or cream.
- Roast the garlic in advance for deeper flavor.
- For a lighter version, substitute butter with Greek yogurt.
