A succulent steak topped with a rich garlic herb butter, served alongside tender asparagus for a perfect dinner.
Ingredients

- 2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
- While the steaks are cooking, in a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme until well combined.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. In the same skillet, add asparagus and sauté for 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Add lemon juice to the asparagus and toss to coat.
- Top each steak with a generous dollop of garlic herb butter and serve alongside the sautéed asparagus.
Notes
- For an extra touch, you can add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese over the asparagus before serving.
- Adjust the cooking time for the steaks based on thickness and personal preference.
