- 4 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir into the wet mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Do not overbake for fudgy texture.
- Line the pan with parchment for easy removal.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
