- 2 pieces Filet Mignon
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 8 pieces, peeled and deveined Shrimp
- 1 cup, cooked and chopped Lobster Meat
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 small, minced Shallot
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh Parsley
Instructions
- Season the filet mignon with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the filet mignon and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add butter, minced garlic, and shallot. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the lobster meat and heavy cream. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Slice the filet mignon and place on plates. Top with the shrimp and lobster cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For best results, use high-quality filet mignon.
- Make sure not to overcook the shrimp; they should be tender and juicy.
- You can substitute the lobster meat with crab meat if desired.
