Description
A tender filet mignon served with a rich and creamy parmesan mustard sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 filet mignon steaks (6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove steaks and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream, parmesan, and mustard, stirring until smooth.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Pour sauce over steaks and serve immediately.
Notes
- Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Adjust cooking time for preferred doneness.
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor.
