Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla.
  3. Whisk flour and salt together, then gradually add to butter mixture.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
  5. Press your thumb into the center of each cookie to make an indentation.
  6. Fill each thumbprint with 1/2 teaspoon jam.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
