- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and carrots, sauté until softened.
- Stir in ground meat, cook until browned.
- Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
- Mix in frozen peas, season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Feel free to add other vegetables like corn or green beans.
- Use leftover mashed potatoes for quicker preparation.
