Ingredients

- 12 large sea scallops
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Pat scallops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear scallops 2 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove scallops and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, melt butter.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning.
- Simmer sauce until thickened.
- Return scallops to skillet.
- Spoon sauce over scallops.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
