- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans.
- Pour the filling over the baked crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- For a crispier crust, chill the dough before pressing into the pan.
- Use a sharp knife to cut clean bars.
