Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, softened butter, granulated sugar, and salt until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  4. In another bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in pecans.
  5. Pour the filling over the baked crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set.
  6. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
