- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother chocolate)
Instructions
- Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or rolling pin.
- Mix Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until fully combined.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt chocolate chips with shortening (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each ball into melted chocolate, then return to the tray.
- Chill until chocolate sets (about 15 minutes).
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
- Use white chocolate or candy melts for variation.
- Add sprinkles before chocolate hardens for decoration.
