- 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated.
- Transfer the peach mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix together rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
- Spread the oat mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider including a pinch of nutmeg or a splash of almond extract in the peach mixture.
- This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger crowd.
