Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the holiday sprinkles.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining holiday sprinkles on top of the cookie dough.
