- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth and water to a boil.
- Add chicken, carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add egg noodles, thyme, and parsley. Cook for 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
