Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, carrots, and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir until thickened.
- Add chicken and peas. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish.
- Place biscuits on top of the filling.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Frozen vegetables can substitute fresh ones.
- Let the pie rest for 5 minutes before serving.
