- 4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup additional shredded cheese for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, sour cream, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, chopped onion, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the potato mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the additional shredded cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are golden brown.
