Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread pesto evenly over each chicken breast.
  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top (if using) and bake for 5 more minutes.
