Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 mayonnaise
  • 1 Dijon mustard
  • 1 white vinegar
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1/8 black pepper
  • for garnish paprika
  • as needed food coloring

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with water, and bringing to a boil. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat, letting sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in an ice bath for 5 minutes then peel them carefully.
  3. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks, placing them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash and mix until smooth.
  5. Divide the yolk mixture into separate bowls and add different food coloring to each to create various colors.
  6. Spoon or pipe the colored yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  7. Sprinkle with paprika for garnish and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Feel free to experiment with different food coloring combinations for fun designs.
  • These deviled eggs can be made a day in advance; just keep them covered in the fridge.
