- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews), roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup dried fruits (dates, apricots, figs), chopped
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the ground cardamom and sea salt.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts, dried fruits, and shredded coconut (if using) on top of the melted chocolate.
- Gently press the toppings into the chocolate to ensure they stick.
- Refrigerate for about 1 hour or until the chocolate is set.
- Once set, break the chocolate bark into pieces and serve.
