Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the melted butter and sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top.
  3. Arrange the drained crushed pineapple over the brown sugar mixture.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter over the pineapple in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
