A simple and delicious crockpot teriyaki chicken recipe.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and shred with two forks.
  6. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl and add to the sauce in the crockpot.
  7. Stir until the sauce thickens.
  8. Add the shredded chicken back to the crockpot and mix well.
  9. Serve with green onions on top.

  • Serve over rice or noodles.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
