Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained

  2. Transfer the mixture to a greased crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until heated through and bubbly.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in 1 cup of the crispy fried onions.
  5. Before serving, top with the remaining 1/2 cup of crispy fried onions for added crunch.

Notes

  • Feel free to add cooked bacon bits for a smoky flavor.
  • You can substitute fresh green beans for canned, just blanch them before adding to the mixture.
