Description
A simple and hearty dish made with chicken and rice cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 cup of diced carrots
- 1 cup of diced celery
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add rice, chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken before serving.
