  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These crispy herb chicken strips are perfectly seasoned and baked to golden perfection. A healthier alternative to fried chicken, these strips are juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken strips in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down to adhere.
  5. Place the coated chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate chicken strips in buttermilk for 30 minutes before coating.
  • Feel free to customize the herbs and spices according to your taste preferences.
  • These chicken strips can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
