- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Coat chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in mustard, heavy cream, chicken broth, and thyme. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and cook for 5 more minutes to heat through.
- Serve hot with sauce drizzled over the chicken.

- Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F internally.
- Adjust mustard quantity for preferred tanginess.
