Ingredients
Scale
- 1 jar (16 oz) dill pickles, sliced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for air frying
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, place the beaten eggs.
- In a third dish, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each pickle slice in the flour mixture, then dip it into the eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs. Make sure each slice is well-coated.
- Place the coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray them lightly with cooking spray or oil.
- Air fry the pickles for 10 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the pickles from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or spicy mayo.
- You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but they are best enjoyed fresh.
