Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add heavy cream, parmesan, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Stir until sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with pasta or vegetables.
