- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and whole grain mustard. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy mustard sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
