A hearty dish featuring tender steak with creamy mushroom sauce and roasted potatoes.
Ingredients

- 2 steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp flour
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Roast for 25-30 minutes.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper. Cook in a pan over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side. Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until soft.
- Stir in flour, then slowly add heavy cream. Simmer until thickened.
- Pour mushroom sauce over steaks and serve with roasted potatoes.
Notes
- Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Use any steak cut of your choice.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
