- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
- Add garlic and ground beef. Cook until beef is browned and no longer pink.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a less greasy dish.
- Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
- Top with extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
