Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), sliced
  • 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and no longer pink (5-6 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
