- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and thyme, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Add peas and cook for 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
- Replace heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
