Description

A quick and delicious creamy garlic butter shrimp pasta that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and stir well.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until sauce thickens.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
  8. Add cooked pasta and mix well.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
