- 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomato puree, tomato paste, sugar, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is fully done.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, you can add more yogurt or cream.
- Adjust chili powder for spiciness.
- Serve with naan or steamed rice.
