Description

Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add tomato puree, tomato paste, sugar, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.
  4. Add marinated chicken and cook until the chicken is fully done.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, you can add more yogurt or cream.
