Description

A creamy and delicious chicken alfredo pasta dish that’s easy to make at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook chicken until done.
  4. Remove chicken and slice.
  5. In same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
  6. Add heavy cream and simmer.
  7. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Add cooked pasta and chicken to sauce.
  9. Toss to coat and serve.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor.
  • Reserve some pasta water to adjust sauce thickness.
  • Add vegetables like broccoli if desired.
