A rich and flavorful pasta dish with tender chicken and a creamy Cajun-spiced sauce.

- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until browned and fully cooked, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta and mix until well coated. Season with salt and black pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
- Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter option.
- Add shrimp or sausage for extra protein.
