Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons (60g) unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz (225g) rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (100g) shredded cheese (cheddar, parmesan, or your choice)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak pieces, season with salt and pepper, and sear until browned and cooked to your liking, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the shredded cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni to the cheese sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Then add the seared steak back to the skillet and mix gently.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add some red pepper flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.
  • Feel free to use your favorite type of cheese for the rigatoni.
