- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn kernels, sour cream, milk, melted butter, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
