- 2 cups Fresh strawberries
- 2 cups Fresh rhubarb
- 3/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, chopped rhubarb, granulated sugar, and flour. Toss to coat the fruit evenly.
- Transfer the fruit mixture to a greased 9-inch square baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the melted butter over the oat mixture and stir until combined.
- Spread the oat mixture evenly over the fruit in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for added sweetness.
- Feel free to adjust the sugar based on the tartness of the rhubarb.
