  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 23 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Add the heavy cream, orange zest, and lemon zest to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the citrus filling into the pre-made tart shell.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
  6. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
  7. Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
