- 1 cup fresh orange juice (about 3–4 oranges)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2–3 lemons)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Zest of 1 orange
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the orange juice, lemon juice, sugar, and eggs until well combined.
- Add the heavy cream, orange zest, and lemon zest to the mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Pour the citrus filling into the pre-made tart shell.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a more pronounced flavor, consider adding a tablespoon of orange liqueur to the filling.
