Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add softened butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour half the batter into the pan.
  5. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and brown sugar over the batter.
  6. Add the remaining batter and top with streusel (flour, butter, sugar, and nuts).
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before serving.

Notes
