Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  6. Stir in flour until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  8. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  9. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter.
  10. Pour the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  11. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter.
  12. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  13. Let it cool before slicing.
