Easy-to-make cinnamon sugar donut holes with a rich chocolate dipping sauce.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for coating)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Spoon batter into the mini muffin pan, filling each cup halfway.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
- Roll warm donut holes in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- For the sauce, heat heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
- Serve donut holes with chocolate dipping sauce.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for 10 seconds if needed.
- Use a piping bag for neater donut holes.
