Description

Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, warm the milk and dissolve the yeast.
  2. Add sugar, butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. Mix in flour until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla for frosting.
  11. Spread frosting on warm rolls.
